Advocating on behalf of members of the Chamber.

It is in the broader business communities best interest, and in the economic interests of the area, to ensure St George CBD is an attractive place to do business.

Members have raised concerns about modernising shopfronts on Forest road and shopping villages within Mortdale and Penshurst. Members have suggested that Council consider grant applications to help subsidise costs associated with beautifying shopfront upgrades / interior upgrades. Footpaths in these areas have also been said to need pressure washing.

Surrounding suburbs have formed Facebook action groups to encourage business owner and council participation.

The Chamber is committed to raising these issues with the relevant parties to come to a resolution for our members.
