The business community need more stable and faster internet throughout the LGA. NBN upgrades need to be completed faster throughout the Georges River Area. With the rise of digital technology and online communication, stable internet is a must. Our members have reported ongoing regular outages to the point where their POS is often down.

The Chamber is committed to raising these issues with the relevant parties to come to a resolution for our members.

At members discussion events, a temporary solution has been suggested to implement a mobile based third party payment system (eg. Stripe or Square) to take emergency payments through mobile internet when NBN is down.
