Business Chamber South Announces Southern Sydney Skills & Jobs Expo 2024

Kogarah, NSW – July 26, 2024 – Business Chamber South, in partnership with Local Jobs Program – Sydney East Metro and Regional Industry Education Partnerships from Training Services NSW, is excited to announce the Southern Sydney Skills & Jobs Expo 2024. This major event will take place on August 29, 2024, at the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Kogarah, and will be open to local schools and the general public. 

The Southern Sydney Skills & Jobs Expo is a unique opportunity for job seekers, students, and community members to explore potential job opportunities and career paths. The event will feature a diverse range of businesses and government agencies showcasing their industries, providing attendees with valuable insights into the skills and qualifications needed for various roles. 

“We are thrilled to host the Southern Sydney Skills & Jobs Expo,” said Tony Baddour, President of the Business Chamber South. “This event is an excellent platform for connecting job seekers with potential employers, and for students to gain a better understanding of the career opportunities available to them. Our goal is to support local employment and economic growth by facilitating these important connections.” 

The Expo will offer a variety of activities and resources, including: 

Industry Exhibitions: Businesses and government agencies will have booths where they can interact with attendees, provide information about their sectors, and discuss job openings and career paths. 

Workshops and Seminars: Educational sessions on resume writing, interview skills, and career planning will be available to help attendees prepare for their job search. 

Networking Opportunities: Attendees will have the chance to meet and network with employers, industry professionals, and training providers.

The Southern Sydney Skills & Jobs Expo is a free event, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Local schools are particularly invited to bring their students to explore the wide range of career options available.
